This book is the result of the 5th edition of the Seminar on International and Comparative Labour Law, organized, by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law in Venice (7-11 May 2018).

The Seminar was dedicated to the topic “The Role of the State and Industrial Relations”.
